Arthur Henry Harrison

Passed away on November 5, 2012,at the Age of 93. Beloved husband of Lois Harrison. Loving dad to Sharen (Robert) Kreitsch. Grandpa to Ryan and Jonathan Kreitsch. Great-grandpa to Maxwell Kreitsch. Art was a Veteran of the Army Air Corp. in the South Pacific. A Master journeyman electrician in commercial and residential construction and a member of IBEW Local 58 for 65 years. He served as trustee at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church and a board member of Historic Redford Cemetery. Art loved family, reminiscing about WWII, gardening and dogs. Throughout his life he played football, baseball, hockey and delighted in volleyball. He stayed active through camping, square and round dancing. Visitation for Arthur will be on Thursday, November 8th, from 6 until 8 pm at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 30900 W. 6 Mile, Livonia. Funeral service,with military honors, will be held on Friday, November 9th, visitation from 11 to 11:30 with service at 11:30, at St. Matthew's. A Luncheon will follow in fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's UMC or charity of choice. Please share a memory with the Harrison family.
