Sharon “Shari” Louise Glab, age 59, of Livonia, passed away October 24, 2019.
She was born October 16, 1960 in Detroit to Julius and Theresa Glab. She graduated from Bishop Borgess High School.
Shari was part owner of Strawberry Moon Bakery in Ferndale. She invented the famous Strawberry Moon Cookies, the best cookies you could ever eat. She also worked for her cousin Robert doing fancy balloon decorating. Her favorite activities were baking and cooking, bike riding, and doing crafting with her nieces and nephews.
Sheri was actively involved in attending mass and praying for others in the “Emmaus Healing Ministry”. She was the embodiment of what it means to be a Christian – a woman of God. Her favorite verses were Matthew 5:1-10, the Beatitudes. Christ’s description of His own Kingdom. To Shari, these verses were a poignant reminder of “Thy Kingdom Come” and absolutely applicable to our own lives. To remember Sharon during this time, grab your Bible and read them and think about how they may help you shape your own walk with Christ.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Julius and Theresa “Teri”; siblings, Darlene (David) Wells, Brad (Karen), Jackie (Daryl) Oleson, Ann, Gerard (Barbara), Jon (Tracee), and Julie (Toby) Self; 22 Nieces and nephews; 8 Great nieces and nephews; and furry friends, Kade and Kason, who loved to sit and sleep on her lap.
